Grammenos Chania Crete Greece Yianni's Villas lie on a beautiful stretch of the Mediterranean sea on the south west coast of Crete. Each villa has a magnificent view of the clear blue waters of the bay, and private garden patios are a great place to relax after a busy day exploring all the splendid attractions that make Crete the perfect place to vacation. Each villa has all of the amenities you'll need for your holiday and your family will enjoy the spacious accommodations which can hold from six to eight people. Yianni's Villas are situated in the highground above the tiny hamlet of Grammenos which boasts a long open stretch of sandy beach nearby. Children and adults enjoy swimming and snorkeling; there are always quite a few varieties of fish to be seen. If the sun makes you thirsty, there is a tavern and two beach stands on either side of the beach. There are many smaller and less populated beaches nearby, including Krios beach and Psilovolavka beach. Krios beach has a small island to swim out to and miles of volcanic coast to explore; snorkeling and hiking are always great here. Psilovolavka has some great cliff diving   The popular beach at Paleochora (which lies approximately 3km to the east of the town of Grammenos) is very close to travel and entertainment facilities. During the evening the roads in the town are closed off for cafes and tourists to enjoy dining and merriment.
